Weekend Festivals

There’s always something going on at the Pumpkin Patch: Face painting, pumpkin painting, Halloween selfie stations, sidewalk chalk, contests, spooky music, ghost tours, pet parades, and more.

A haunted scavenger hunt through Downtown will lead you to some frightfully hot Halloween deals at participating Downtown stores and a frighteningly fun Witches Ride soars through Downtown Natchez!

Reservations are available on weekdays.

Pearl Street. We’ll cover 2 blocks in Downtown.

Bring the kids to downtown Natchez in their costumed best! The annual Autumn event returns for a safe, fun “trick-or-treating” experience for the whole family as the local merchants of downtown hand out candy and sweets.

Afterwards, head over to the Bluff where Natchez Parks & Rec will be holding their “Trunk Or Treat with The Grinch”, from 5:30pm – 7:00pm

Duck Hunt: Halloween Scavenger Hunt

Bring your kids to Downtown Natchez for a Fun Search Activity!

Kids of all ages are invited to look for rubber ducks in the windows of our Downtown businesses. Can you find all the rubber ducks hidden in our downtown merchants’ windows?

10:00am – 5:00pm

Families can pick up their Scavenger Hunt sheets at ArtsNatchez, (425 Main St.) or download it below and print it at home. Write down the name of the business where you found each one and bring back to ArtsNatchez to pick out your OWN rubber duck to take home! For more information, contact Robin Person at 662-515-0490.

 Here’s How To Participate:

Pickup your Duck Hunt Sheet & Map at ArtsNatchez (125 Main St.) Or download it here! 

  1. Follow the map on page 2 and start looking!
  2. As you find the ducks, write the name of each store on your sheet. Keep a sharp eye out; Not all of them are actually shaped like ducks!
  3. Find at least 45 ducks.
  4. Bring your completed sheet to ArtsNatchez between 10:00am – 5:00pm on Saturday, October 26th or Sunday, October 27th to pick out your OWN duck to take home!

    PS: be on the lookout for teeny-tiny ducks as you searchthose are yours to keep!

Junkin on the River: Oct. 11–12th

Calling all Pickers, Antique-ers, and Junk Store Enthusiasts: This is the weekend for you! Every Fall and Spring, this “15 mile of stretch of Junkin’ Paradise,” hits the Natchez/Vidalia area. For Fall 2024, you’ll find over 22 shops and 200 booths, with food trucks and fun, all packed into an epic, all-day shopping experience of antiquing and junkin’. There will be door prizes to be won and discounts to be had. Come and stay for the entire weekend!

Natchez Balloon Festival : Oct 18-19th

For the past 39 years, The Natchez Balloon Festival has become THE place to be every Fall, as a weekend of hot-air balloons and outstanding live music that is the largest and most successful festival in Southwest Mississippi. The festival site is located in historic downtown Natchez in the parklike grounds of the columned mansion Rosalie.
