DNA Wins “Best Planning Project” For Revels Plaza/MLK Triangle at MS Main Street 2024 Awards

We are so honored to be recognized at Mississippi Main Street Association Annual Awards Ceremony in Jackson on Thursday, June 20, 2024, for achieving National Main Street America Accreditation, and we received an award for the Best Planning Project in the State for Hiram Revels Plaza at the MLK Triangle.

We were also honored to have as our guests Mayor Dan Gibson, Alderwoman Valencia Hall, Rep Robert Johnson, Darrell White, Rev and Ms. Birdon Mitchell, granddaughter Bailee; five Trustees from Zion Chapel AME Church, including Sidney Ransom, Tony Fields, LaVera Allen, Carlee Reed.

Also present DNA board members Jo Ann Brumfield, Chesney Doyle, Norma West, and DNA downtown director Kevin Miers. Great things are happening in our Mississippi communities!
